first order non-homogeneous differential equation

I'm just thinking if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the basics of first order non-homogeneous differential equation. I find solving problems really tough. I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra classes. Can you guys suggest any online resource that can help me with this subject?

I agree, a good software can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best. It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Pre Algebra and Basic Math too, so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level. If you never used a software until now I can assure you it's not hard, you don't have to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.
