Can anybody help me? I have an algebra test coming up next week and I am totally confused. I need some help specially with some problems in how does simplifying an equation help solve it? that are very confusing. I don’t wish to go to any tutorial and I would greatly appreciate any help in this area. Thanks! |

What exactly don't you understand about how does simplifying an equation help solve it?? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in College Algebra, so I think I could try to give you some ideas on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should buy Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 2, and I have to say it's so cool! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can use it anytime you feel like. It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever used a similar software. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra teacher. You won't regret it! |

Hi, Algebrator is one superb tool! I started using it when I was in my college. It’s been years since then, but I still use it frequently. Take my word for it, it will really help you. |

I remember having difficulties with hypotenuse-leg similarity, midpoint of a line and rational expressions. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
