Greetings everyone! I have a severe problem regarding algebra and I was wondering if someone might have the ability to help me out somehow. I have a algebra test in a few weeks and even though I have been studying algebra seriously, there are still a few parts that cause a lot of problems, such as when solving a rational equation, why it is ok to remove the denominator by multiplying both sides by the lcd and why can you not do the same operation when simplifying a rational expression? and algebraic signs especially. Last week I had a class with a private tutor, but many things still remain unclear to me. Can you propose a good method of studying or a good private teacher that you know already? |

Student can’t seem to think of anything beyond tutoring. Why don’t you try something yourself? There are many resources for when solving a rational equation, why it is ok to remove the denominator by multiplying both sides by the lcd and why can you not do the same operation when simplifying a rational expression? which are a lot better than tutoring. Try Algebrator, and you will never need a tuition. |

I allow my son to use that program Algebrator because I think it can significantly assist him in his algebra problems. It’s been a long time since they first used that program and it did not only help him short-term but I noticed it helped in improving his solving capabilities. The program helped him how to solve rather than helped them just to answer. It’s great! |

I remember having often faced problems with graphing parabolas, equation properties and adding matrices. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Basic Math, Algebra 1 and Algebra 1. I greatly recommend the program. |
