Hi, I am a freshman in high school and I am having trouble with my homework. One of my problems is dealing with why do we need to factor polynomials; can anyone help me understand what it is all about? I need to complete this asap. Thanks for helping.

It always feels good when I hear that beginners are willing to put that extra punch into their studies. why do we need to factor polynomials is not a very difficult subject and you can easily do some initial preparation yourself. As a helping tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This program is quite beneficial when doing math yourself.

I remember having difficulties with scientific notation, rational inequalities and graphing function. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
