ged algebra + substituting variables

I have an assignment to submit tomorrow afternoon. But I’m stuck with problems based on ged algebra + substituting variables. I’m having problems understanding triangle similarity and proportions because I just can’t seem to figure out a way to solve problems based on them. I called my friends and I tried on the internet, but none of those activities did any good. I’m still trying but the time is running out and I can’t seem to get a hang of it. Can somebody please show me the way? I really need some help from you people for tomorrows assignment. Please do reply.
