simplifying a complex rational expression

1.Hi Guys Can someone out there show me a way out? My algebra teacher gave us simplifying a complex rational expression problem today. Normally I am good at 3x3 system of equations but somehow I am just stuck on this one homework. I have to turn it in by this Friday but it looks like I will not be able to complete it in time. So I thought of coming online to find help. I will really be thankful if someone can help me work this (topicKwds) out in time.

I looked into a number of software programs before I zoomed in on Algebrator. This was the most appropriate for multiplying matrices, rational expressions and side-side-side similarity. It was effortless to key in the problem. Instead of simply giving the solution, it took me through all the steps clearing up all the way until it reached the solution.
