Hi, I am a freshman in high school and I am having trouble with my homework. One of my problems is dealing with why was algebra invented; can anyone help me understand what it is all about? I need to complete this asap. Thanks for helping.

I have no clue why God made math, but you will be happy to know that someone also came up with Algebrator! You can download this software from http://www.linear-equation.com/the-slope-intercept-form-of-the-equation.html. There are some demos available to see if it is really what want and if you find it useful, you can get a licensed version for a small amount.

I remember having often faced problems with adding fractions, equation properties and exponent rules. A truly great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Intermediate algebra, Intermediate algebra and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
