I have a way out for you and trust me it’s even better than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of problems and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on power fractions examples and I really enjoyed using it.

When I was in college, I faced similar problems with function composition, y-intercept and long division. But this wonderful Algebrator helped me through all my Remedial Algebra, Algebra 2, and Pre Algebra. I simply typed in a problem , and step by step solution to my algebra homework would appear on the screen by clicking on Solve. I highly recommend the Algebrator.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Basic Math and Algebra 2. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with linear equations, percentages and binomials. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
