when solving a rational equation, why it is ok to remove the denominator by multiplying both sides by the lcd and why can you not do the same operation when simplifying a rational expression?

Will someone be able to sort out my problem with my math? I have attempted to get myself a tutor who can assist me . But until now I have failed. Its hard to locate somebody near by and inexpensive . But then I want to find a solution to my problem with when solving a rational equation, why it is ok to remove the denominator by multiplying both sides by the lcd and why can you not do the same operation when simplifying a rational expression? as my exams are fast approaching just now. It will be a huge help for me if someone can guide me.

Haha! absences are bothersome especially when you failed to learn an important topic like when solving a rational equation, why it is ok to remove the denominator by multiplying both sides by the lcd and why can you not do the same operation when simplifying a rational expression? that is really quite complicated. Have you tried using Algebrator before? As of now, this is what I can suggest you to do: try that program and you’ll have no trouble understanding when solving a rational equation, why it is ok to remove the denominator by multiplying both sides by the lcd and why can you not do the same operation when simplifying a rational expression?. It’s very useful to use because it does not only solve math problems but it does explains by giving a detailed solution. Believe it or not, it made my test grades improve significantly because of this program. I just want to share this because I’m elated with the software’s brilliance.

I know a couple of tutors who use Algebrator themselves to teach students.

It’s amazing that a software can do that. I didn’t expect something like that could really help in algebra. I’m used to be taught by a teacher but this really sounds cool. Do you have any links for this program?

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving perfect square trinomial, difference of squares and factoring polynomials. Just by typing in the problem from homework and clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Pre Algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.

Thanks friends for all your replies . I have got the Algebrator from https://linear-equation.com/systems-of-linear-equations-1.html. Just got it set and started using it. Its terrific . The exercise problems can test the real knowledge that we possess on Basic Math. I am thankful to you all!
